Because Later Never Comes.
Sorone wasn’t built because sorting photos is hard. It was built because later rarely comes, and unfinished tasks weigh on your mind.
It began in the classroom, where photos pile up faster than they can be sorted. That unfinished work becomes a mental load: something to remember, something to return to, until it quietly overwhelms you.
From that experience, our core beliefs emerged:
- Finish tasks, don’t create them: Technology should close loops, not open new ones.
- Respect the work: Everything you capture should be safe, secure, and private.
- Fit the day: Tools should adapt to busy schedules, not demand extra time or “learning.”
Sorone moves the thinking forward. You make the decision once, in the moment, so nothing is left for later.
Originally built by a teacher for a teacher’s problem, we’ve found that camera roll overload is universal. From worksites to studios, photos aren’t just memories; they’re part of the job. Sorone is shaped by lived experience and a deliberate choice to make technology quieter, simpler, and more reliable.

Why Sorone is Different
Built for professionals who don't have time to sort later.
Sorted as You Shoot
Sorone files your photos the moment you take them.
Open the camera, name the folder, take the photo. The organisation is already done
Decide Once. Done.
You use your voice to name the folder, then keep teaching, building, or creating.
There’s no second pass, no retracing your steps, and nothing to remember at the end of the day.
Off Your Camera Roll, On Your Terms
Every photo is stored securely in the cloud, never touching your personal camera roll.
Your professional work stays private, organized, and ready to download when you need it.
